Kings & Queens takes its name from its streets, which are named after Spanish kings and queens, and it is one of the oldest residential parts of Sotogrande. Wide, tree-lined roads, mature gardens and large plots give it a settled and private feel, while the polo fields, the beach and the marina are all close by. The Setting

Kings & Queens sits in the lower, coastal half of Sotogrande, between the Santa María Polo Club grounds and the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. In July and August the neighbourhood is at the centre of the season, with high-goal polo on the fields and the beach clubs and marina restaurants a short drive or bike ride away. For the rest of the year it is quiet, green and residential.

The Homes

The heart of the area is detached villas in well-planted gardens. Many date from the estate's early decades and range from classic Andalusian designs to homes that have been completely modernised. Around the edges are smaller communities such as El Polo, Los Granados, Polo Gardens and Los Lacasitos, which add apartments, townhouses and semi-detached houses to the mix.
